Come to this one-session class taught by a registered dietitian who will help you understand what puts you at risk and how to take control of your future. Healthy Balance is a one-year weight management and diabetes prevention program designed for adults with prediabetes or for those who want to lose weight. The Healthy Balance program is an alternate curriculum for National Diabetes Prevention Program recognized by the CDC.
Healthy Balance empowers you to maintain long-lasting healthy lifestyle changes by:
- Eating healthy
- Increasing physical activity
- Reducing stress
- Problem-solving & being more mindful
The program has two phases with a total of 28 classes:
- Phase 1: Healthy Balance – Weight Loss
- Phase 2: Lifestyle – Maintenance
Sessions are led by trained lifestyle health coaches with experience in nutrition, behavior change, fitness, and group facilitation.
