Starting May 15, 2024, this class will meet weekly for 18 weeks, followed by Phase II Lifestyle Maintenance consisting of 10 sessions (6 bi-weekly for 4 months, ending with 4 once-per-month sessions for the last four months).
Healthy Balance is a proven one-year program for people who want to lose weight and keep it off. This program offers engaging, group-supported classes in a virtual environment. Members can anticipate 3-7% weight loss* by the end of the program.
Healthy Balance empowers you to maintain long-lasting healthy lifestyle changes by:
- Eating healthy
- Increasing physical activity
- Reducing stress
- Problem-solving & being more mindful
The program has two phases with a total of 28 classes (Phase 1 = 18 classes, Phase 2 = 10 classes):
- Phase 1: Healthy Balance – Weight Loss (5/15/24 – 9/11/24)
- Phase 2: Lifestyle – Maintenance (09/25/24 – 4/02/25)
Note: You will be automatically registered for Phase 2 after completing session 16 of Phase 1.
Sessions are led by trained lifestyle health coaches with experience in nutrition, behavior change, fitness, and group facilitation.
