Family medicine physicians

Your family medicine physician can care for you during your pregnancy and for your child after he or she is born.

Obstetrician-gynecologists

Ob-gyns are medical doctors who specialize in the care of pregnant women. Most can also provide gynecological care for you when you’re not pregnant.

Certified nurse-midwives

These registered nurses can care for you before, during, and after your pregnancy. They also deliver babies and give birth control counseling.
