Sponsorship process and timing
Inquiries
- General events: Submit at least 60 days prior
- Galas/formal events: Submit at least 90 days prior
- We will respond within 30 days of receipt
Elligibility
Kaiser Permanente only sponsors events in Georgia counties where we operate medical centers.
What We Support
Kaiser Permanente Georgia focuses on sponsorships that:
- Advance community health and well-being, including chronic disease prevention, maternal and family health, mental health, and youth health initiatives.
- Strengthen local organizations and partnerships that address community needs, such as food insecurity, housing stability, and access to care.
- Engage employees meaningfully, through volunteering, mentorship, or skill-based contributions.
- Promote equity and inclusion by supporting programs that reduce disparities and foster healthy, thriving communities across Georgia.
Exclusions
We are unable to support or sponsor the following types of activities and organizations:
- Religious purposes
- Endowments or memorials
- Political or partisan campaigns or activities
- School athletic programs, teams, or field trips
- Fraternity or sorority organizations
- Individuals
- International or social organizations
Review Process
All inquiries are reviewed by the Community Relations sponsorship review committee. You will be notified of next steps by email. Additional information or discussion with the applicant may be requested.
Strategic Alignment
All sponsorships are reviewed to ensure alignment with Kaiser Permanente’s mission, strategic priorities, and focus areas, including health impact, equity, community need, and meaningful employee engagement. Applicants are encouraged to demonstrate how their initiative supports these objectives.
Application Deadline
- The sponsorship application for Community Relations is closed for 2025. We are only accepting applications for 2026 Community Relations events.

Community Grants
Community Health
Community Health sponsorships may only be made to 501(c)3 organizations whose missions and work aim to improve the health of individuals or communities. Specifically, Community Health sponsorships must align with one or more of Kaiser Permanente’s common areas of focus, which involve creating healthier school environments, affordable housing, food security, access to non-medical supportive services, economic opportunity, poverty alleviation, and related issues.
