Community Relations is about changing hearts, engaging communities, and mobilizing people toward action. Our community engagement efforts seek to strengthen the vital work of community-based organizations and promote goodwill within the community.
Kaiser Permanente Georgia employees and physicians are actively involved in giving back and shaping their communities for the better. We believe that being engaged in communities across the region enables us to better care for people’s health.
We know that when we listen and share stories and ideas, we can bring about innovative solutions to the challenges we face. Our programs impact the nonprofit community and create opportunities for employees to connect with the causes they care about.
Community Relations mission
Our mission is to enhance Kaiser Permanente’s visibility and brand recognition in the marketplace through community and stakeholder engagement activities. This includes sponsorships, board service, events, association memberships, awards and recognition, volunteerism, and corporate citizenship and engagement.
Volunteerism
Through a robust volunteerism program, our employees and their families have many opportunities to give back. We partner with local organizations such as Adopt-the-Beltline, Piedmont Park Conservancy, Atlanta Community Food Bank, and the King Center to provide volunteer opportunities that support our communities.
