Connect for Cancer Prevention Study (CONNECT)

The Connect for Cancer Prevention Study (CONNECT) aims to better understand the causes of cancer and how to prevent it. KPGA is 1 of 10 health care systems throughout the country participating in CONNECT. The study will enroll 200,000 cancer-free adults 30 through 70 years old. Participants will be asked to answer online surveys, donate blood, urine, and saliva samples, and share access to their electronic health records. This information will help researchers study health patterns that may affect cancer risk. This study is funded by the National Cancer Institute of the NIH, and the KPGA team is led by Dr. Blythe Ryerson.
